Hello, everyone-
Trying to identify a photo I have of BR&P caboose 285, if it got passed on to the B&O, and what number it became. Bonus if we know retirement date, too. Some date I have collected so far:
B&O Class I-10 Cabooses: C2600 - C2665
BR&P 280 = B&O C2631 = At R&GVRRM, Rochester, NY, under restoration - http://rgvrrm.org/about/railroad/brp280/index.htm
BR&P 283 = B&O C2634 = At WNYRHS, Orchard Park, NY - http://www.trainweb.org/wnyrhs/cabeeseFrame1Source1.htm
BR&P 252 = B&O C2603 = LAL 2603
BR&P 269 = B&O C2620 = WAG 2620
BR&P 314 = B&O C2665
BR&P 260, 261, 271, & 297 were wrecked before gaining B&O numbers C-2611, C-2612, C2622, and C2648.
Was the numbering truly chronological? Was BR&P 285 actually B&O C2636?
