Did you get any pictures?

- #615 was moved to Woodbourne Yard by Septa this morning. She has "VGNX" reporting marks, which appear to be the Virginia Railroad Historical Society.

Thanks Ben. Great news that it was ultimately saved from the torch. The body actually looks to be in very good shape for a 50+ year old loco.

I do still miss seeing it in gel train service though.

The 615 was bought by a private individual and is being shipped to Belington, WV on the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley RR's, West Virginia Central operation. Not sure what plans are for it.

Thank you! Hopefully a nice cosmetic restoration at least.

Anyone know what the locomotive / cab car assignments are going to be for the gel trains this autumn? The leaves should start falling in a week or two.

As I was clearing the leaves from my lawn this morning, I wondered the same thing. Last year they used the AEM-7's for the leaf / gel trains. I wonder if they will do the same this year?

602/70 on the Overbrook Gel

Three AEM-7s to Wayne Electric at some point in the next week or two for the other two trains (with one spare).
