On the 12/14/14 Lansdale-Doylestown timetable, Train 575 now departs Doylestown at 5:23p weekdays & runs local to Lansdale, departing there at 6:00. From Lansdale, it runs express to Fort Washington, stops there at 6:13p, then runs express to Jenkintown (stopping at 6:21p). After Jenkintown, 575 makes ALL local stops going to Center City & then continues as a Thorndale local.

575 seems to have a very peculiar stopping pattern for SEPTA, even for a reverse-peak train. It is the only scheduled train on the line that does NOT stop at North Wales- when was the last time that was the case?

I can just see passengers leaving train 6596 or a late-running 6576 at North Wales, waiting to cross the tracks to the inbound side parking lot, & being VERY surprised by 575 going through wthout stopping.

I wonder why 575's stops are set up as they are?

It's also THE only inbound Lansdale/Doylestown train to stop at Elkins Park.

That should be a morning train too. I always thought there should be a Doylestown local to Lansdale, express/limited to the city train. The trip to/from Doylestown could be much quicker.
