I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but...

Did the old Silverliners (the IIs and IIIs) have the same sort of Master Controller and other controls in the cab as a Silverliner IV or Jersey Arrow?

I am trying to make a simulated MU cab for my train club, and I have some handles and associated tools from an Arrow II, an I was curious if they'd be compatible.

What I'd like to do is see if I can't contact the people scrapping these cars, and see if some of these parts are intact, and if I may take/buy them. Of course, if anyone here could point me in the right direction towards acquiring these parts, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying to do the same thing with a New Haven Washboard Controller, but thats for a different forum.

Yes, the older Silverliners more or less have the same control stand. There is a GE control stand with a removable controller (forward or reverser control) and a separate brake valve. The controller is connected with a electrical plug below.
