The 8 car set did NOT overnight in Powelton last night. I am unsure as to its location.

The 8 car set ran to Trenton on 1703 this morning approx 10 mins late.
Lines Frequented: SEPTA Trenton Line, West Trenton Line, Warminster Line; NJT Northeast Corridor Amtrak Northeast Corridor (PHL-NYP).
Regarding the three above posts: The usual shenanigans affecting equipment availability are in full force as always.

Set 1: 1295/9212, 9251/9254

Watch the septa app septa likes to sometimes put the Marc cars on 6321
Trenton sets
9724/9745 is a 6 car set
1703/9728/9747 is the only 8 car set
Thorndale and Newark sets
No change with the 9526/9561
9538 set goes to Newark in the evening as 9251/9254
1565 set is the morning Newark trains 1295/9212
The only thing that may change is the cab car and engine of the sets.

Amtrak almost immediately balked at the set that laid over in Trenton being eight cars, so that went to seven from the first Monday (the eight car set did run on Friday 9/27 on 9724 at least). It went to six after one of the cars got shopped and they didn't have a spare. Not sure why it hasn't gone back to seven.

Back when the PP trains were all only 5 cars before the coming of the center-door coaches, they parked that set AND a 3-car MU set on #7 track each night. That's 8 coaches and a loco with space in between them. So one 8-car set would be no issue, space-wise. But... *shrugs*

The MARC set is nowhere to be found in Powelton Yard. Where it normally sits is occupied by a full set of Comets.

Saw the MARC set with a SEPTA ACS pushing it on the main line just east of Overbrook yesterday morning while I was on an Amtrak Keystone westbound.

Went to Frazer for inspections.
