Does anyone know if they will be running the weekend express service and hourly shuttle train this summer? They are not listed on the upcoming schedule. I know there is PTC work resulting in some cancellations, but I thought that was just during the week. It would be a shame if they didn't run those trains this summer.

I don’t know if anything is changing from the 6/4 schedule. All of the summer holidays are mentioned in it..

SCOTUS only ruled Y-day on Sports Betting,How the Heck can a Dead Horse racing Track already have a "Sportsbook" parlor??
The Casinos will get the Sportsbooks parlor first anyway!!!!!!!

Not necessarily true. Monmouth Park has stated that sports betting there is likely to start Memorial Day. The portion of the grandstand dedicated to it is already under construction.

The start and end dates of the 7300-series trains aren't available ATM.

But are they definitely going to be running this summer?

I can almost guarantee it. Ridership is through the roof on the 7300s, especially 7327, 7331, 7354, and 7362.

Gotcha, yeah those are great trains. Is there a reason they run 7310 and 7314 so early? I feel like they’re wasting a ton of potential; even if they moved this up a couple hours, they’d have a ton more ridership

They could possibly bump it up this year who knows. I think the purpose of the early trains was for, early risers lol.

The purpose of the early trains is to have the equipment in place in New York in time to carry the large crowds down to the shore.

That's just great. Those trains were probably the most crowded weekend trains that NJT runs, and there's even an argument for running them year round. Not to mention they're missing a huge opportunity with Monmouth Park becoming more popular.
