A Railway Age video. A head end ride; get an idea of how an Alp45dp is operated. One correction: we pass a Northeast Regional just before the Newark Airport station. The caption calls it an "eastbound." We're going east, it's going west.

Thanks for sharing. I found the process for transitioning from diesel to electric mode especially interesting.

I work in Middletown with my scanner on all morning and early afternoonand, and listen to the dispatcher getting the time they've made the transition.
I find that video relaxing, and enjoy it because I have worked many of the places in it, from Brielle to Sunnyside.
