I understand that NJT has recently sidelined a number of older locomotive types. Is anyone able to update the current revenue earning locomotive roster?
For good order I post below the last situation I was aware of:

GP40PH-2C 4100 to 4112
GP40PH-2A 4145 to 4147/4149 & 4150
GP40PH-2B 4200 to 4219
ALP46 4600 to 4628
PL42AC 4000 to 4032
DASH8-P40B 4800 to 4803
ALP46A 4629 to 4664
ALP45DM 4500 to 4535

I have not included the locomotives owned by Metro-North but operated by NJT.

Many Thanks

UKRailfan.

4100 and 4101 are the last two CNJ's in revenue service.
4145-4150 are, I believe, all restricted from passenger service, but this seems to be changing often. In any case, I haven't seen one on a train in some time.
4200-4219 are in a similar boat, with select engines in non-revenue service. 4200 and 4204 spring to mind, in addition to 4218 being long term OOS.
4020 is long term OOS following a road accident in 2013.
4800-4803 are no longer on the property. They were sold Connecticut for service on Shore Line East and the eventual NHHS service.
4643 went swimming during Sandy and has not been returned to service.
There is no 4535.
