Accident Snarls NJ's Riverline

reference buses at stations, the Riverline timetable shows there are bus connections at at least half of the stations. I suspect that's the reason they are there, may be laying over or whatever.

Anyone know specifically why NJT buses are posted at Riverline stations? I have seen them parked in lots at many stations up and down the line. The obvious reason would be to accomodate passengers in the event of breakdown, accident etc. I was surprised to see the buses in the second week of service. Were any of the buses used in the Trenton (or Hamilton or Bordentown) deer mishap?

They are there in case of a breakdown. I asked one of the drivers of these buses and that is why. Interestingly enough, the bus was wrapped in an advertisement for the RiverLINE.
