PATH Train Gets Air

Post by CSX Conductor » Wed May 04, 2011 6:56 pm

This morning while riding PATH from Newark Penn towards WTC I saw an oopsie at Journal Square. Unfortunately I couldn't get better pics from the train. (I got on another train going towards Newark to get pics but the train began to accelerate so pics aren't that good.)

Anybody have any details? ... 0_2537.jpg ... 0_2536.jpg ... 0_2535.jpg

Unfortunately, things tend to come in three's. Hopefully, this won't be the case...

As far as things in 3's there was recently an overnight service suspension later that week due to tresspassing individuals in the track area. Service was suspended long enough (based on alert times texted to me) that it could have been either a fatality or someone who took the cops a while to apprehend. Either way, I'm sure it irritated more than a few people both authorities & passengers alike.
No I'm not a railroad professional, but that doesn't mean I can't provide first hand observational comments.
