Everyone: I found a very interesting overview explaining the MTA and the current state of affairs along with some history by Mike Gerald at the www.straphangers.org website in their Rider Diaries section-and I found it interesting enough so I decided to post the link here because most of what was mentioned was basically NYC Transit. I decided to post this here because the NYC Transit thread most matched what was mentioned in his overview more then the LIRR or MNCR sections.
