Since the redbirds were retired, how many were saved or converted into work cars. I have seen a couple here and there on the trash train and the money train. I thought I saw one as a rider car in a work train consist. I still had all its windows intact, and looked like it had been recently painted into the yellow and black paint scheme. :P

38 R33WF's are in non-revenue use. They can be found around the system doing various tasks from yard switching to car transfers and trash runs and work moves.

Some R33 ML's are rider cars.
