56k?- my 1st catch on (W) action in Bklyn

Post by FamousNYLover » Thu Oct 08, 2009 9:36 pm

When I enter City Hall, I heard announcement, this Whitehall St-bound (W) train going to make all (R) stops to 95th St, I rush to fifth car before door closed. They change destination. I took that to 4th Av-9th St.
This was my first ride on (W) action via (R). Origianally I plan to take (R)(W) to <7> express for Q72 for Queens Library.

Guess what time I boarded the 95th St-bound (W) via (R).

What you've posted on IS interesting, but NOT unusual. The W normally runs between Ditmars and Whitehall, but during rush hours, 3 or 4 downtown trains have the route extended to the Bay Ridge terminal.
