R12/15/33/33WF in revenue service on the 7

[7 Train]

On Friday 6/18 a vintage trip train of IRT car (R12/15/33ML/33WF) ran for 3 hours in regularlly scheduled revenue service on the 7. Coverage was in today's Daily News and online at SubTalk.

The runs were a success, that official are considering more on the 7 later this year.

Yeah, I actually saw that train once during Labour Day weekend last year while I was riding a train of R36 Pullmans. I was impressed when I saw it from the front window, not to mention, I got it on video also......

i was in sunnyside on saturday i just got off at 45 road chs
and as i went down the steps with my camera in pocket
here goes pass me the fan trip special with 11 old i.r.t. cars
going right over me. i saw some of the fans at times square when i was on the #7 waiting to go to queens i did get a few shots of the cars as they were returning to queensboro plaza from skillman avenue side of sunnyside yard hope the fans had a enjoyable trip
