On the Canarsie line, next to east 105th on the west side, there is a seemingly abandoned spur next to a warehouse/industrial building. I'm wondering what that was used for and who operated it.

edit: Lotlines show it branching off from the Bay Ridge line near Linden Shops.

It looks to be an abandoned branch of the Bay Ridge Branch, probably to a factory near the E 105 St station. Not a part of the Canarsie Line.

May have been a siding off the Bay Ridge Branch, abandoned during the PC era,not sure if NY&A could reactivate that siding.

It was actually a relatively late addition - historic aerials reveal that it was constructed between 1966 and 1980.
