I noticed that the S trains are turning around at Howard Beach after discharging passengers at Broad Channel. there was a shuttle train laying over in the center track there this morning.
The double crossover rails at Broad Channel are rusted and there is a tie blocking access to the test track. There are lots of contractors working in the area so it looks like those switches are being repaired while service is being provided.

On a side note, the ride is super smooth over the new tracks and I think the speed has been increased.
