Interesting breakdown. A few questions about this:

1) Is there an official reason as to why each car has 1 MNR and 1 State Of CT logo and will additional logos, etc. be added to the respective owners' cars once all have been delivered?

2) A Wikipedia link to an article in Trains magazine claims that there is an option for yet another 25 additional singlets. Fact or fiction?

3) Since there is the possibility of yet an additional option for 58 or 68 or so cars (and presuming that this batch will be owned only by CT) would that make them 9700-9757+ ?

4) Would the 9600 series cars be for SLE service since it has been mentioned quite a few times before in DOT documents that there would be 24 (to 32) cars used for SLE service?

5) Bar cars are indeed a go? Or will these be coaches specially numbered for conversion to bar cars?

I only got you info that was given to me , rest is pure and only speculation.

360 cars already? Time is really flying!

360 on property only 340 conditionally accepted, so only 340 are available for passenger use.

Right. Does the order for 405 cars total still stand or is it 380? I've seen both numbers in a lot of places so I'm not sure which to believe :-P .

380 cars in pairs and 25 cars as single unpowered cars.

no one knows and no plan yet, they have not been tested east of New Haven on 25 Kv and on ACSES system.
at growth of service on MN you may never see M-8's on SLE.

Not that this is so significant, but 9204/05 was on display in New Haven on track 3 for National Train Day today. The pantograph was down the whole time, but yet the emergency lights were still on. How long can their batteries go for before draining?

till battery drains enough ;-)
