neither would speed restriction on bridges in our lifetime, add to that speed restrictions for stateline curve in port chester 4 bridges that won't take sideways forces) the S curve in Harrison , New Rochelle , you get my drift ?

Other impediments that are can't be changed:
Meriden and Wallingford stations and grade crossing.

What's the issue with those stations?

By how much? Also, I'm not entirely sure trains would skip MDN.

Just saying that trains will stop at those stations and seem to have lower speed limits around.

Summary - the 30/30/30 is not realistic and the $ cost for the time savings is not worth it.

Money is needed to get the existing system into a good state (S Norwalk bridge as an example).
