The 1061 & 1075 are down in Rochester. The 1068 came up to Readville yesterday from Middleboro.
The 1064, 1066 are in Middleboro for shipment west.
The 1031 should be the next unit leaving Boise.

The 1063 actually returned to service today, and assigned south. I heard it's on the 1513 set right now as part of a doubleheader.

The 1061, I think from earlier in this thread is officially in service but not for passenger use right now.

Also, the 1031 is the last of the original 10 locomotives to leave Idaho, correct?

The 1061 went to Middleboro on the 4th and has not returned from Rochester as far
as I know.

The 1064 & 1066 are still in the Middleboro area, waiting to go west.

8 units back from Boise, 1 in transit (1031), so one more to go from the original group.

Ah, thanks for the info, I thought I heard earlier that 1035 was on its way back, so I was assuming that was #9 on the way back, with 1031 being #10.

Also, the last few rebuilt engines have been kept down south after testing instead of going north and staying up there for a while. Only engine up north (and as far as I know, it hasn't been down south yet) is 1032.

The only thing I don't like about the rebuilt F40s is that they don't go very fast on express trains. They feel like they go a bit slower than the GP40s and the original F40s but they look sharp and don't break down often.
