Hello!
I'm looking for pictures and numbers of the MBTA cars leased by the CC&H in the 1980's. I heard they leased 23 cars and I have four numbers so far. They are 2524, 2591, 2569, and 2526.
Here is a link to one of these cars in CT: https://www.flickr.com/photos/49401850@N07/9548084497" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Here is a picture of these cars in Hyannis: https://www.flickr.com/photos/62824280@N07/11332761516/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Other pictures and numbers are appreciated! Thanks!

Correct. These were former New Haven RR 8600 series coaches built by Pullman-Standard in 1947-48, carbon steel construction with stainless sheathing, originally steam heated. In their later years they tended to rust out under the sheathing and by the time the CC&H got them they were pretty tired.

I rode a cc & h train once when they ran trains from Braintree and Hyannis, and noticed that the car we rode on was of CN heritage. The CN logo was barely visable underneath exterior paint, and signs aboard the car were bilingual; English and French. I just thought I'd throw that out there.
