Alert warns of bus, rail attacks

Wary Bay State officials yesterday vowed to beef up security efforts in the wake of a new FBI/Homeland Security alert that terrorists may try to bomb buses and rail lines in major U.S. cities this summer.

Yeah we know, and the MBTA PD has uppened its security force since 3/11, and now, hoepfully, they'll be able to keep an eye on subways, buses and CR's with the help of Amtrak Police (which will patrol Amtrak LD Trains), hopefully, they'll get to even ride on some trains in both uniform and in undercover plainclothes.
