After what seems like an endless delay (to me at least), Metro will soon begin installation of the canopy over the escalators at the north entrance to the Dupont Circle station. https://www.wmata.com/about/news/Dupont ... cement.cfm. An interesting tidbit is that as part of the project, the long underused/unused planters will be removed an a to-be-determined Art in Transit project will replace them. I think some cool lighting, or maybe a water feature, would be fun.
