What ever happened to car pair 1236/1237? The two were shipped off to Guardian Centers in Georgia to be used for emergency training, but they do not appear to have been part of any of the major WMATA incidents (Fort Totten, WFC, Woodley Park, etc.).

What ever happened to car pair 1236/1237? The two were shipped off to Guardian Centers in Georgia to be used for emergency training, but they do not appear to have been part of any of the major WMATA incidents (Fort Totten, WFC, Woodley Park, etc.).
My guess is they were among the many cars that were deemed to be structurally unsound for revenue service.
