AIA awards Metro its Twenty-five Year Award

The award in my option is well deserved. To this day I wished WMATA had not bastardized the 22 coffered arch design with the 4 and 6 coffered arch designs in the name of cutting costs. I also wish they continued using the classic gull wing canopy design over some of the later built surface and elevated stations.
