Steve: I like "Where is this?" pictures myself...

These are two separate locations on the Port Jefferson Branch that are photographed:

The picture of the steam train is looking eastward in Smithtown at the viaduct crossing over the
Nissequogue River. Jericho Turnpike crosses underneath in the foreground under the ballasted
section visible-note the zebra stripe on one of the columns below-just west of the location where
NYS 25A forks off to the north at the famous "Bull" statue.

The second picture is the bridge over Town Line/Bread and Cheese Hollow Road which is between
Northport and Kings Park of a eastbound train with #615 wearing the Gabreski-era color scheme.
#615's marker lights are on and headlight is off - good sun angle behind the photographer.

The tip off is the straightaway view ahead towards KP - the viaduct west of Smithtown has curves
on either end that would be noticeable. The sand hill visible behind the train helps to further make
out the location which is in an industrialized area at that point.
