It is the only transportation library in Southern California and its collections and circulation rank it among the top 10 transportation libraries nationwide. The library is a member of OCLC, the largest international library services network, and honors interlibrary loan requests. OCLC Symbol = CRD.
The library is a partner of the National Transportation Library. We are working together to improve the availability of transportation-related information needed by Federal, state and local decision-makers, with timely access to information that supports transportation policy, research, operations, and technology transfer.
Much of our collection is unique and not found in any other library.
