Hi,looking for help on a sw1200 airsystem problem. It is a remote control loco with standard 26l airbrake but there are some valves in the air system that we dont have any prints for .We believe we have j-16 inplace of a j-i.also has a p2-a,control,a-1 charging valve,f-1,quick release and numerous check valves that are installed in system. We put alerters in our locos but these remotes and our dont use the alerters. We our having problems when conducting air test.On the air test, seems to work normally when using automatic.when making reduction and throwing it in the hole, brakes apply and pcs comes on in emergency.normally, equalizing pressure will drop with brake pipe and brake cylinder rises till approx 45 psi .When we do this when using the emergency brake handle in cab,pcs comes on and brakes begin to apply but equalizing press does not drop out or lower. They put these remotes on yrs ago and noone seems to have a print for this and we think they tied in somewhere in the system. We have changed all the valves and still problem. We thought emer br valve was sticking or vent valve was, this loco has only 1 vent valve and we changed that also.no luck. Also changed j-16 and boss told us to change it over to j-1-no help.today, did find more leaks in trailine piping and repaired, but did not test yet.Loco is used in mill and does not have to be fra but should work in manual mode, which everything but when using manual brake valve ,has this problem.Remote system or mode works fine.thank you
