Not sure what that is... but as far as 6 axle switchers... have you never seen a CN GMD1 with A-1-A trucks? Those have 6 axles (though only 4 are powered). Or should I say "had" as they're all gone now... retired or re-trucked with BB's..

That's a rebuild, but I think EMD itself produced some CC variants on its switcher models. There was something derived from the SW-1000 (maybe SW-1002, maybe SW-100X for some other X) built for South Africa: cab and hood looked like a domestic (U.S.) switcher, but three-axle narrow-gauge trucks.

SW1003 was the SAR unit. Another unique feature is that it was equipped with rotary couplers, don't recall if only one end or both, so it could pull cars thru rotary dumpers without worry.

This unit was probably designed as, and is used as, a switcher:

That's not really the same as the unit in the first post, though. MPEX #6201 is a newer unit rebuilt from an SD35, and is a much more heavy-duty unit than any of the 1950s-era EMD switchers, which would include the #1301. Some roads use SD38-2's or SD40-2's for yard work today, which would be a closer match to the MPEX unit than a traditional EMD switcher.

Bogieman--
Thanks! ... Of course, this leads immediately to speculations: what WAS the SW-1002? (Or what would it have been if it had been built?) (Grin!)
