I'm confused. I know the station hasn't been used in year and the tracks were removed but I can't tell at all where the yard/station could have possibly been. I just returned from exploring the area and there's currently a large road. Did that road exist before the tracks were removed?

Thanks!

As UP merged with other RR's in the Salt Lake City metro area, most of the former DRGW trackage was torn up as excess
Some of that area became the I-80 west/I-15 north interchange(Grant Tower area),this was also where the former SP headed west toward Donner Pass.
Most of the former DRGW mainline to Ogden was banked for future use.
There should be 2 stations, the "Union Station" that was used by DRGW and the former UP/OSL station near the Trax "Arena" light rail station.
Both stations had platforms on the west side of their buildings.
