It appears that railroad operations on both BNSF and UP have not been affected by the wildfire at Cajon Pass either on the SP or on the ATSF afforded to the "traditional UP".
While the present UP has numerous reroutes available, the BNSF would essentially be "out of business" so far as the LA Basin had it been necessary to close Cajon.
