Wounder what NS plans are for 2010 on new locomotives, any word?

I have seen reports of 4 PR43C & 100 EMD SD70AC's. by NS. Caterpillar will be happy today!

NS has fully embraced the use of AC traction and since there are plenty of DC traction units on the roster for applications where those are best suited, look for most future orders to be for AC units at this point.
