Cresson area

Post by po5173 » Mon Sep 14, 2009 9:38 pm

I will be staying at the station inn Sept. 27 to 30. My questions are what are the best times to watch the trains, and has this area seen fewer trains due to the economy?...Thanks for any help you guys could give me.

24 hrs/day is good, although things do seem to slow down a bit in the early afternoon. Fewer trains...not signifigant, but shorter trains, yes. I have seen that NS and CSX are calling furloughs back, so things must be picking back up.
The trails are nice, but let's save the rails!!!
