I don't often get to see NS as I live along the B&A in MA (CSX). I am spending this week railfanning in PA with my son. Today we are in Altoona to visit the museum and hope to head out to Horseshoe curve etc in the AM. Today was very rainy and foggy, but here is a link to the pics from today

Here are some pictures I took during Conrail Days at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania back in May. NS bought in a SD80MAC, SD60I (CRQ), and a ES-40DC for the event.

Question for ATSF and Kaback from a novice:

Were your shots of the Juniata Shops from within the grounds or from a long zoom? If within the grounds, do you have special access or can anyone get permission to go on site for photos?

Thanks

Zoom lens, and a tiny point and shoot as well for some of the fences. For the shop by the turntable just put the camera through the fence as its long enough opening between bars to. One has to think someone wanted it that way as every where else there is a chain link one. If I could get in there I would have much better shots!
