Orange. Originally it was "safety orange" but it has faded to that weird peach-like color.

The Bucksport Branch has become rather colorful lately. Along with the 3001 that's been on the line for a lengthy stay, today's BKWA had the 3109 as the middle unit. Both would be facing west on the main, and come down the branch elephant style leading the WABKs. It looked to be a good size around 30ish cars +/-. Lead unit back to Waterville was 330. Hopefully, the WABK will be a little late this Saturday so I can actually get it coming in for once.

Anybody else seen the 2666 GP38 that that was on SJPO yesterday? It was the third unit. I couldn't get any decent side pics though.

Interesting. I would have thought that 3005 would be first in line. The paint is completely worn off in some spots.

You know, maybe it is that one, but for some reason the color orange is sticking in my head. I guess we'll see....

In either case it'll be a big improvement!

"qwertyfaq2" from the GuilfordRailSightings group has reported that 3005 is the third unit on tonight's POSJ, and that it is sporting fresh paint -- PAR dark blue, with GMTX lettering.
