I have been wondering this as well. It's been almost 6 months now since I have seen any movement / any cars on Univar siding.

They made a few trips to Peabody this week due to the long weekend including a late Friday drop off. The crew left the train off Bridge street in Salem for the holiday weekend.

The engine is no longer there but the cars are, they seem to be on the rail.

Yup, it was derailed. A crew with a crane was there yesterday morning putting the train back on the tracks. They also had an other engine on site to move the train and then take the engine home.

Has anyone got any updates on Univar? It's been about 8 or so months now since they have been serviced.

An article in the Salem News today notes that work about to begin on Rt. 1 in Peabody includes the removal of the rail crossing near Lowell Street:

"Crews will be installing construction signs, excavating and removing railroad tracks and installing new drainage structures on this stretch of Route 1, MassDOT said. The work is scheduled to start Sunday, Aug. 25..."
