Not much to say about CSX activity in Framingham these days with only 2 daily road trains, a small handful of locals, and a couple (?) yard jobs. I have no factual info but I wouldn't be surprised to see CSX sell-off the low traffic volume Agriculture Branch between Framingham and Leominster in the not-too-distant future. But that's just a guess.

Rail train is to be delivered to the MBTA Franklin Branch on Saturday, June 1st. We are short of power at the moment, word is that we are going to use the CSX units to help drop the rail. Of course, with the RR life, everything is subject to change

Also, B731 is based out of Readville

What CSX local serves the G&U at N. Grafton - is it the Sun-Thurs B722 Framingham - Westborough switcher? Does B722 also service the Regency (?) Warehouse track at Worcester? Thanks.

B722 makes the drop for the G&U but they recently got cut by CSX to only 3 times a week.

Two lines of brand spanking new TROX trash/C&D cars, in red paint, have been sitting in Framingham (west/receiving) yard for 5 days straight. Never saw anything except bad order singles stay more than 2 days. Are these for SEMASS? Are there delays down Middleboro way?

most likely for the new customer in Fitchburg. reports in another line in this index (Fitchburg Secondary) reports two things, one that the new customer was cut in during the week and there is reports of a derailment somewhere ion Clinton which would prevent the movement of these cars

Bumped. I took a closer look at these two lines (still in the same spot, going on 10 days now) and the back ends of both lines include mixed freight destined for Middleboro/Taunton customers. One car is a loaded mechanical reefer, a priority car. Those don't sit for ten days. Lucky it's cold out or that thing would be running out of diesel fuel, and it's not in a refuelable location. Something has to be up southeast of Framingham.

I'm not sure if its related but according to this thread- https://www.railroad.net/viewtopic.php? ... &start=390 Mass Coastal RR is expected to enter into receivership. Don't they dispatch that line?

Was at the Nevins freight yard today (3/24) and noticed the Yellow Russell snow plow is being loaded onto a lowbed truck.

Any one know if this bought for refurbished or scrapped ??
