CSX has been moving Vermont granite to the Port of Oswego, NY for a harbor improvement project.
Yesterday, while Q62028 was switching Mohawk, Adirondack & Northern in Utica, NY, I noticed several gondolas containing unusual loads. I first thought it was construction debris only to quickly learn it was Vermont granite from the Rock of Ages Quarry, Barre.
