Norfolk Southern is currently requesting bids for eighteen former Conrail GP15-1 locomotives. All of the units are currently stored serviceable at Conway.

All of the Conrail GP15-1s were purchased in 1979. The units for sale by NS are as follows:

NS 1400/CR 1605 Snow plow on both ends
NS 1401/CR 1609 Snow plow on both ends
NS 1402/CR 1610 Snow plow on both ends
NS 1403/CR 1612 Snow plow on both ends
NS 1404/CR 1613 Snow plow on short-hood end only
NS 1405/CR 1614 Snow plow on both ends
NS 1446/CR 1685 Snow plow on both ends
NS 1447/CR 1687 Snow plow on both ends
NS 1448/CR 1688 Snow plow on short-hood end only
NS 1449/CR 1691 Cab signal/Snow plow on short-hood end only
NS 1450/CR 1692 Snow plow on long-hood end only
NS 1451/CR 1693 Snow plow on both ends
NS 1452/CR 1694 Snow plow on both ends
