The First unit to be painted was CONRAIL GP40 # 3091 (Ex PC 3091, Exx NYC 3091) Serial #33502 built October 1967. she was painted at Collinwood Shop on May 23, 1976. Info is from Conrail Motive Power Review Vol: 1 by Gordon Lioyd Jr. and Louis A. Marre a nice shot of her is on page 23.
