NS locos painted conrail blue?

I saw a picture in the book Conrail vol 3 of a blue Conrail engine and 2 Norfolk Southern engines and both were painted blue with the horsehead logo.

It was late at night and I thought I was seeing things but they look blue to me. Any one have this book and can confirm it?
