Dear all,
Current models, like Rapido's Fp9 painted in Action Red or the respective paints available, appear really "red".
Whenever I look at classic pictures or movies of CP Rail passenger cars and F units, the color stripe on the cars or the paint of the locomotives seems to be rather orange. The same is true e.g. in the Silver Streak movie.
My question is: Where the rather orange because the paint had faded over the years or was the photographic material in these days only capable of recording faded colors which let Action Red appearing with a rather orange teint?
Thanks!
BR, Andrew
