Hey guys, I'm new to the site and interested in a railroad career as a conductor.

Just out of curiosity, where in Northeastern Ontario can a conductor be based for CN? Is Foleyet an option? Or just hornepayne? How about North Bay?

Also, what is the likely hood of getting laid off in your first year as a conductor? Heard some people say its very likely, but it depends on the economy.

What is training pay like for CN and how long does it usually take to get trained as a conductor? Anyways, I appreciate the help.
