I finally managed to get a shot of a DPU unit on a CN train on the Kingston Sub. These are very elusive since there appears at present to be no rhyme or reason to their operation, however, I am told they are going to become more common as they iron out the kinks. They are supposed to be there to improve train handling, a good thing as the day before a train #305 broke two knuckles near Newcastle, Ontario... a 16,000 ton, 11,000 foot train.
Here's a link to the photo (they rejected the shot of the headend, so for the record they were CN 2200, CN 5687).
