CN has moved a GO Transit Bi-level trainset free of charge, 350 miles from Mimico (Toronto) to Montreal. The major portion of the run was via the Kingston Sub. GO offered the equipment to Montreal’s AMT for use on the Blainville line to help alleviate overcrowding on their trains after an overpass collapsed on a major highway leading from Laval to Montreal last weekend. Montreal is on an island and many extra passengers have been showing up at the AMT stations.
