The Navy is selling at auction starting 3/26/2008 four Baldwin switchers. These are located in Crane Indiana looks like one has roller bearings. The auction closed today. The roller bearing unit sold for $28,000.00 . the others $29,000.00 $29,000.00 and $26,000.00 . My guess is this will leave in small pieces.

I know this auction ended some time ago but can anyone confirm what became of these units. The Government Liquidation links in this topic are stale but I saved a few photos on the Baldwin Diesel Zone, don't tell anyone I don't want to get in trouble :wink: , see the bottom of this page; http://baldwindiesels.railfan.net/usn/index.html. If no one knows the fate of these units does anyone know how to find out?
