You need access to REGISTER OF ENGINES MADE (Baldwin Locomotive Works). I had copies of Volumes #4 through 7, but recently donated same to a Railroad museum. The originals of all volumes are at the Smithsonian, but they do not have the time or staff to answer your question. However before the Baldwin Hamilton Company closed and before we donated the remaining originals to the Smithsonian we had several copies made - - - try:
Pennsylvania Railroad Museum
Whitewater Valley Railroad and Museum
California Railroad Museum
They may help, especially if you offer to make a donation.

Baldwin 54804 is Illinois Central #3508 and 0-8-0 steam engine.
