Hello,

I am looking for photos of a RS4TC Locomotive number 4005 now on the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway. I would like to seen what this locomotive would have looked like back in the day.

-have you tried http://military.railfan.net ? good roster shots and links for US military rail equipment. Most RS4TC's started out in Army black; some made it to Air Force blue, some even to Army red, before being retired or scrapped. Not sure about 4005. Good hunting.

Hi,
I’m trying to determine original military number for two RS-4-TC units.

The first is Better Chemical Solutions #243, http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=1372903
BCS also has #242 which seems to have #4023, http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=1372921
Not sure what the original military number was for #243.

The second is Port of Shreveport #3001, http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 614&nseq=7
The Port of Shreveport also has #4021, again, not sure what the original military number was for #3001.

Any clues (like these things seem to travel in pairs) would be appreciated,
Mark
