BNSF Helper Unit - Chicago Area

Just saw a coal train yesterday heading east through Downers Grove, IL with one helper unit working hard on the rear of the train. Anyone else see helpers in this area? I've lived in Downers Grove for 42 years and have never seen a helper through here before.

Probably distributed power, which sometimes is cut off at Clyde yard before the train heads east.
