What were the original ATSF #s for the SD75Is and Ms in the 8200-8301 series? And what year were these units renumbered?

They had the same numbers, minus the 8. This goes for the first 50 locos. The rest were delivered after the BNSF merger, and got the 8000 series numbers. I guess the first locos got renumbered (8 added to their original number) at the same time.

That is exactly correct, the ATSF units were 200 series. The second group came after the merger. They were numbered in the 8200 series. The pre-merger units were renumbered from ATSF 2xx to BNSF 82xx. The units were not the same anyway. The first group had the 30 brake system, with analog gauges. The second group had CCB, and I think that they were capable being used in distributed power.
