Coming west today, with train #27, we were delayed on the Fallbridge Sub, at Eavan, Wa. The railroad was blocked at Vancouver, CP 8th St., due to a pile of grain cars blocking the crossing, and fouling the connector, between 8th St and CP Center. This is the "third leg" of the wye, between the 2 MT's of the Seattle Sub, and the 2 MT's of the Fallbridge Sub. The Vancouver Amtrak Station, as well as the BNSF yard office/tower sits in the middle of this wye. I popped a couple of cell phone pics, while waiting to get talked through the mess, so we could make our stop at Vancouver, to unload passengers. Maybe somebody in the area has some more info, or at least some better pics......
